How do I call out early morning shift (5am) I don't know anyone's contact aside from my gm. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Threw up from food poisoning, I have absolutely no idea how to handle this. Do I text? Do I call them???

Always call. It says right in the partner guide that a text is not appropriate for calling off. It’s literally called a “call” off. If you only text it can count as a no call no show which is an automatic final written warning. Even if they don’t answer at least call and leave a message, and call the store as soon as it’s open. (also if you’re typically an opener it’s a good idea to save your SSVs phone numbers for this reason)

I messages at 1am saying I'm gonna call out to the gn, just called the store when they opened at 5am. Was told to try and find coverage, so just messaging a few people
