So basically there is this guy, we will give him the anonymous named Carl. Carl was very strange towards me when I first started but I thought he was just trying to be nice and help feel including. Well it got weird fast, he constantly invites me to go smoke weed with him (I’m a recovering drug addict from xanax, which I’ve said… multiple time…) He stands really close behind me, he says the phrase “well at least your pretty.” Which at first didnt think of it as much, but I’ve realized that this is actually incredibly demeaning and that I’m not good at my job but at least I look good? Anyways, he tells me about his Molly benders and how he is constantly having intercourse with other people to recover from a breakup. Oh, and he was in the Café cuddling w another partner?????? No one said anything besides one of my friends who took a pic and was like WTF? And apparently left w him, haven’t seen her on the schedule for these past weeks. The final straw for me is when one of my partners texted me and a few others on the verge of tears from anger bc he was twerking on another parter, in uniform in the Café with some of our best regulars! He was also telling her that “C’mon be a cougar” “I know, but dating younger wouldn’t be so bad!” Carl is a minor. I don’t know what to do, bc I feel like this would all backfire since we are a close friend group ig and I don’t want my SM to think we are lying bc there is video of it, but our SM doesn’t have access to it. Idk, just lost and said this is a world we have to live in.

Your SM, they will need to open an investigation with ethics and he will most likely be fired. Unless your SM doesn't like red tape, then they will most likely fire him on the spot.

He just called in sick today (which he wasn’t) and another person was actually sick. This morning was hell, had to turn of mobiles. And it was a disaster. He did too much coke and needed to detox ig.

I would suggest maybe bringing it up to the manager and HR? I’m not entirely sure what I would do in this situation either, but especially since he’s a minor, at the very least see if there’s any way you could be switched not to share any shifts with him anymore while things are being figured out?

I would say switch but I need the hours, I’m a minor too and finances are tough atm.

First and foremost, file an incident report on your store’s iPad. There is a form on there and you can fill it out, select what happened, and explain what happened. Get as many partners who witnessed this to fill it out if you can. The larger the paper trail, the better your outcome for the case
