I answered the phone today and this gal started by saying:
"HI, so I was just in and my name is Susan (changed name) and picked up my mobile order from the cafe."
Me thinking this is going to be a gal complaining about her order or something I got concerned.. instead instead says:
"I'm pretty sure I just misgendered the person who handed me my drink, he had a he/him mask on and I just wanted you to let him know I am so sorry! Can you let him know for me!"
I went over and told him and I almost started crying with happiness about it lol
Such a great way to end my shift and he was super appreciative too!!
