i want to kms again- i srsly thought nothing could have been as bad as my shift yesterday but today is sucking just as much, only today I'm not gonna continue my daily routine of crying in the back. Had q breakdown 2 days in a row so far and i aint gonna make it 3. I'll just stare off into space and punish myself and not eat instead :')

Punishing yourself won't solve the problem and it'll probably compound it at that. Sign up for Lyra and talk to an expert while you find another job.

Seek entry level employment elsewhere, i suggest a movie theater. Even at their busiest they still operate in waves that make it much more manageable, there aren't a bunch of recipes or combinations of buttons, no one is particularly irritable because they are waiting for their morning coffee, some of them are really big companies and can have a few benefits. My first job was at a movie theater, and it was the least stressful job i think ive ever had. Plus you get an inside line on pop-culture due to pre-screenings and access to theater signage that can resell for quite a bit.

No job is worth suffering over, and no job should push you to consider self harm.

talk to EAP, if you're in the US:
1 800-327-5564

They can help listen if you need to vent (sometimes you don't realize how much you need it until you do (guilty 🙋) ), and they can find you resources, locally or thru the company that can help. Or i think they can, it's been a long minute since i've called.
