A lil rant about the sm I don’t like :/ (self.starbucksbaristas)

I’m kind of annoyed with this shift manager at my store…

I’ve been at SBUX for 3 months and sometimes when I work DT and window at the same time this one shift will interject and take the order if I don’t answer it in like 5 seconds and it’s really annoying.. like I’m literally about to answer it when she takes over.
I understand that it’s the shifts job to help everyone else but the way she handles it… she always sounds so annoyed.
And not to mention she had shoved me twice.
like one time someone was at the window trying to get my attention and she literally shoved my shoulder and pushed me to the window.
Then another time I was doing grinding wrong and she literally pushed me out of the way. And I don’t liked to be touched very much, not to mention SHOVED.
I’ve been meaning to say something to her but I’m not trying to start a fight.
And… one time when I was working with her… she let her friend go on his 10 before me even though I had been there for and hour and a half before him, and she went on her break the same time as him leaving only two people on the floor… idk what to do because everyone talks about how much they love her.

At DT, you’re supposed to make sure the customer is greeted immediately. It’s annoying but that’s probably why she’s doing that. As for the rest, that’s not okay. Tell your SM

Getting is one thing, taking over an order is another. We used to have this prevalent at my store and I handled it quickly. I won't recommend the method though, I'm too comfortable with conflict.

My advice: quiet, constant, firm, and polite self advocating. The calmest person in almost any problem is usually the "winner".
