Friendly reminder to anyone who has worked for the siren for a year, it's time to accept your bean stock in Fidelity. (self.starbucksbaristas)

I've become somewhat of an amateur financial specialist for my store and always end up being the one to remind partners there, so i figured i should help out the internet a little bit if i can.

How does the bean stock work? I've been with sbuxs for about a year and a half, but I'm only going to stay for about another year. Is it worth it to get into the bean stock?

By then half of it will mature, and it's basically free money, so i would recommend it.

It take you take it before it matures I've been told you have tax on it

So, do I need to re accept it every year????
Like, I accepted it year one made the account and left it. Did I miss out on 2 years worth of beanstock?
sailorgrumpycat [OP] 2 points 1y ago
Yeah, it has to be accepted each year. I just had to accept mine again, and its not the first time I've had to.

Ffs. All the money I've missed. Explains why my account has like nothing in it

Check your email for a message from fidelity, there should be a way to use that to either log in or create an account with them. Once you do, on the homepage there should be an alert about the grant, with a link to accepting it. Make sure to read the prospectus and the grant agreement.
