Customer took a random venti drink and said I made it wrong. And I’m like did you order a (blank) and she’s like no. Then she looks at her grande drink and said I paid for a venti. And I’m like it says a grande here. No, I paid for a venti. No u didn’t. Bitch, the sticker says a grande. This trick might’ve worked when we were still writing cups but not anymore. She went ok and left and I made sure I said NEXT TIME READ THE STICKER before she did.

These scams are getting old, I will talk back when needed. I work at a kiosk so no stickers and I’ll even go back to register and show them they paid for the size I’m making lollllll

I’ve had baristas charge the difference for people while I “fix” their drink. Not dealing with it anymore either.

I’m petty. I would charge the difference myself. That’s what I did with someone who ask for a non dairy milk after I steamed the 2%. She asked if it was too late. I said yeah but she can pay to change it. She obviously looked annoyed but I ain’t dealing with that shit of people trying to not pay for the milk they want. “Can I get oat milk?” We were out. “How about almond?” She was definitely playing the game.

Lol, that, but sometimes I remake it and then charge to see if they say nvm. So I can just say okay, I already made it, I’ll remake with your original milk. (But still have it on the counter.) Or lately, they’ve been saying a lot of “this was supposed to be hot/iced” so I remake it then say I can dispose of the other if they’re not trying to hand it back 😭 If they are, then I let them keep it.

No I won’t make it for them at all if they say never mind. And the hot or iced ok I’ll remake it and make sure they give the other one back. If it’s my mistake I’ll remake it no questions asked.
