My first rude customer as a new person (self.starbucksbaristas)

I've been working at Starbucks for around 2 weeks now, picked it up really fast as I have a niche skill of picking up on things I enjoy but forgetting everything else.
I was stationed on Frapps and got an order for a Chocolate Cookie Creme Frapp, so I made it up and shouted the name of the customer and could instantly tell just by how she looks she was going too be one of THOSE.
She looked at me with these almost disgusted eyes, picked up the drink, and said with all her hubris "Uhhhh?" \*\*Starts doing some sassy hand wave gestures\*\* "It has coffee in it." I was so confused because how could she tell just by looking at it, so I said "It can't have coffee in it, I made it and didn't add coffee" at this point I was beginning to question my sanity and if I just made a beginners mistake until she said the words "Well then you made it wrong, it's brown, it has coffee in it"
I was absolutely dumbstruck, "The Chocolate makes it brown"
"Oh"
then she just walked off without saying sorry ??? is this common??

it’s common. had someone order a peppermint mocha frapp, get angry it was brown, and refused to believe the chocolate is what made it brown. you’ll get tons of these people, just try not to let it make you feel incompetent, unless it’s actual criticism:)

omg i had someone order a caramel crunch creme frap and when I handed it to her she was like, “this is the wrong color.” i asked if she meant to order it with coffee and she said, “nO cOFfEe. every time I order this it’s darker.” i was so confused???
she then proceeded to start yelling the same thing over and over at me and I was like, “ok let me remake it for you.” so I remake the creme frap and surprise, it’s still the exact same thing. so now she’s infuriated. i confirmed with her that she did, indeed, mean to order the caramel crunch frap.
SO I MAKE IT WITH COFFEE. don’t even give her the option. And she’s like, “finally.” just shows that people have no idea what they’re ordering lmao

don’t worry stuff happens like this, you kinda gotta expect that some customers aren’t the brightest
had a customer upset because they didn’t want a lot of foam even though they ordered a cappuccino… then i simply suggested a latte for them.
another time this lady told me that her mocha *FRAP* was supposed to be hot… and then i asked her if she meant a mocha latte and she was like “oh yeah that”, ended up remaking drinks for both of these because some costumers don’t know what they are talking about 😐

Literally so many people have done essentially this exact thing to me lmao. For some reason chocolate= brown just does not seem to compute sometimes
