Don't need to wear anything special, jeans and a hoodie will suffice.

Bring your social security #, have your bank account information available, make sure your phone is charged, make sure to get your boss's phone number, ask if there's a group chat 👍

Awesome! Thank you! I was hoping a hoodie would be ok cause I just moved to Massachusetts from New Mexico and haven’t bought anything warmer haha!

Um no jeans and a hoodie would not suffice! Wear according to Starbucks dress code 🤦‍♀️

I texted the manager to ask if I should come in wearing dress code and he said “it’s cold so come in comfortable. Don’t worry about dress code today”. So I think it did suffice. Tomorrow I have to be in dress code though.

I wore just a pair of jeans and a shirt, you are technically on the clock, but you arent on the floor so dont be too hard about the clothes you wear, just dont show up in pajamas and you should be fine, my onboarding was quick, and my SM had set aside 4 hours, I finished in 2 but was told that I was free to go and would be paid the full amount, you will get a free drink as you are now part of the company, so get you a nice drink, sit back and take your time, ask questions if you need to, it will show your SM that you are invested in this job for the long run. And most importantly, welcome to Starbucks!!

Thank you for making this thread! I go in for my paperwork tomorrow so this was nice to come across!

It was super quick! I would just text or call your boss to see what you should wear.

I actually asked this question in my interview! The person I spoke to was a manager at another location who was doing the hiring process for the manager at the store I applied to since they are currently out! I was told that I don’t need to worry about being in dress code yet! It’s interesting to see how it differs across stores for the onboarding!
