I put in my two weeks notice and I was offered my last ten days off and they would be paid???
I’ve sorta caused an uprising and called a lot of the higher ups out on a lot of stuff. While this sounds great, it sounds too good to be true. What possible reason could they have for this?
I’ve gotten in trouble for the dumbest things since calling them out and now can’t help but question this decision???

At my store giving pto to people who quit or have been let go is quite common - sometimes its meant as a kind gesture, sometimes its bc our sm/the team legit does not want to encounter that person again. I wouldn't question it too much tbh

It sounds like they want you to leave immediately and make you use your unused PTO for the next two weeks in lieu of notice?

If you were supposed to get paid out that pto and need that extra check find out first. Not sure if starbucks pays out pto

I just wrote a notice saying I would be leaving the company saying my last day would be xx/xx and made sure it was at least two weeks and left it on the desk since my manager wasn’t there.
