Does anyone know how to load the gift card trios? (self.starbucksbaristas)

We had a customer come in today who asked to load the cards with $10 each but we tried scanning it for $10 and for $30 but neither option went through.

You just scan the barcode, the little square one, and a message will pop up asking what amount to load onto all three cards (example; $10 means they’ll have a total of $30 to pay.)

I had so much trouble with this today. Why they don't have a label or note ANYWHERE that says to scan FIRST is BEYOND ME UGH. The other comment is correct, scan it first and it will prompt you to enter the amount per card.

Don't hit activate Starbucks gift card on POS, you just scan the barcode on the back of the gift card package.

Just learned today. You have to scan the gc pack FIRST and then hit ‘activate’
