Can someone tell me if there’s a standard about having floor mats? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Go to your stores safety and security manual; it should be accessible to all partners. It will be in there somewhere. They are anti-fatigue mats and are supposed to be in any planted position areas where a partner will be standing for any extended period of time. Definitely a standard that has to be followed.

Literally had ecosure force us to get more. It's a requirement. And it's for partner health and safety.

Before we had them, I consistently had partners complain of back pain. Now they don't.

pretty sure it’s a safety thing because of the spills and water and such

The floors are SLIPPERY as hell without those mats! There’s gotta be a safety rule about ‘em somewhere!

They are not required but are nice sometimes

My DM said they weren’t a Starbucks thing and were not required.
