Wish that were me. I had the exact opposite. The corp partner was v excited that we were open on Thanksgiving so she could get her coffee 8/
I chose not to make any further connection at the window, even with not-so- subtle cues about how we DIDN'T use to be open on holidays....

My store is the only one in the district that's open on Christmas. All of the other corporate stores are closed and license stores are closed because their respected home stores are closed.

Every store I have ever worked at has been open 365 days a year. Holidays especially… extended hours for thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve 🥲
