Hello, I’ve got an interview for Starbucks on Sunday. Any tips for the questions that they might ask?(self.starbucksbaristas)

Be cheerful. For real. This might sound cheesy but as a former SM I could tell with almost certainty if I would hire someone within 5 minutes of meeting them. Smiling, laughing, a cheerful customer positive attitude will get you EVERYWHERE at the BUX

This is sooo true. Our SM is the epitome Olof cheerfulness and sometimes it actually scares me lol

mention connecting with customers and wanting to brighten their starbucks experience. starbucks is really big on customer service & connections!

God they might ask you the best customer service experience you’ve had I just made something up

my manager asked me a lot about customer service and scenario type questions. “tell me about a time you experience great customer service and what made it great” or “if a customer was unsatisfied with a drink how would you deal with the situation” or “if you saw a coworker doing something wrong how would you resolve it”

customer service, fast learning, being able to strike up a convo and connect with people. you’ve got it

your work experience, what made you apply to the job/what interested you in working at starbucks, your history with coffee or tea, your qualities when to comes to work (strengths and weaknesses, what you contribute the most to a team)

this^^ but also your own personal interests, what you’d do to correct a problem with a customer, and what you look for in a work team
