That customer would have been so pissed at my store. We're out of carriers.

Also, ewww.
ADHDgoBurr 80 points 1y ago
This is why we need a limit on how many drinks you can mobile order at once 💀

Realistically they would just put in a few orders and do the same thing though
Sarahthelizard 20 points 1y ago
Look a bit closer, this garbage human being ordered these in-store.
xoMisaa 5 points 1y ago
the max needs to be 3 drinks 3 food items. like seriously people abuse the FUCK out of mobile ordering sometimes bc there’s no limit🥴
alwaysrelapsing17 73 points 1y ago
The fact they're all different 😭
Loh-Doh 43 points 1y ago
Terrible. Still, what a legend you are!!
Partialtotheblue 40 points 1y ago
You just made the corporation about $120 dollars in profits but still only got paid your hourly rate… unionize and earn the true value of your labor.
KobeJay22 -5 points 1y ago
I was at a Starbucks licensed store and we where union, fun fact I actually made less than I do at my current corporate store after union fee’s. I hated the union so much. They say they are there for “our help and protection” but they never did anything but collect fee’s and implement some new rules that where nice, but not worth it in my opinion. Starbucks corporate has treated me way better than the union.
4shotsin 1 points 1y ago
Everyone has an opinion. I don't think you should be down voted for it.
StormTheParade 1 points 1y ago
how much were your union dues, and at what frequency?
KobeJay22 0 points 1y ago
Mine union dues where about $9 per week. Also my hourly pay was lower than what I make at My current corporate store.
StormTheParade 5 points 1y ago
$9 per week or $9 per paycheck?

Typically union dues are scaled based on a certain percentage of your average income. Many union organisations gauge monthly dues by your wage x 2.5. If your dues were paid on a weekly basis, you'd just take that total and divide by four.

I'm very sleep deprived and maths isn't my best subject, but I was curious - if you do that formula in reverse, it should give us an idea of your hourly rate at the time. $9 weekly, for four weeks, totals $36 monthly. Divide by 2.5, you end up with a wage of roughly $14.40 per hour. That would be on the high end of pay for what corporate Starbucks offers on average, outside of cities/states that had minimum wage at $15 at the time. I'm going to assume that's the union-negotiated rate, but I'm more surprised to hear you're actually making more at a corporate-owned store unless you're an SSV or higher.

Did you attend the union meetings? What were they like?

Please tell me I’m not seeing a kiwi refresher with cold foam
lilkiosk 12 points 1y ago
I zoomed in. I think they were just actually shaken so they’re bubbly…. At least that’s what my heart wants to believe!
gabby24681 4 points 1y ago
Literally went through the same “ oh no no no” and then zoomed in
poetixvirgo 4 points 1y ago
I want to believe it to because say it ain’t so, anything but the Kiwi refresher
CrepuscularMoondance 1 points 1y ago
Not a barista.. but what is wrong with a refresher with cold foam?
poetixvirgo 3 points 1y ago
Nothing wrong per day just that alot of us would agree that this would taste really nasty but to each their own if the customer likes it
boy_linda 14 points 1y ago
you know I wouldn't mind it so much if they added 20% gratuity to orders over a certain amount and stalled the ability to place a second order for like an hour so they can't dodge the gratuity. same with orders placed 15-30 min before close
monicamac52 14 points 1y ago
😭😭😭😩😩😩
AdultMaleWhale 13 points 1y ago
That’s awful… you must have to be like incredibly gorgeous or something to be able to pull that off! 😂💖
lilkiosk 9 points 1y ago
I cannot emotionally bring myself to give you an upvote… I don’t want to downvote you… but I want to downvote the idea.

We have a customer, every Tuesday without fail. Been happening for over 2 years. She orders 20+ drinks. And comes in a MINIMUM of 2 times. The 2nd time ordering 15+ drinks. Apparently it’s part of her job. She’s a sweetheart and get our average ticket sales up. So we all like her :)
Multihued_Minutiae 1 points 1y ago
If only the multiple drink orders could be done by opening and put on display out front in fruit crates for mobile pickup types. Would that adversely push opening hours though is beyond my pay grade.
Multihued_Minutiae 1 points 1y ago
Caveat: customer microwaves the contents or pays extra for the works: insulation and paper sleeves.

Drug reps gonna drug rep. My old store was within like 10 miles of 2 hospitals and 10 gazillion doctors' offices so this was ops normal for us.
Sad_Current_1383 5 points 1y ago
😭😭 I'm so sorry.
emrosepal0101 5 points 1y ago
😔😔😔
purseEffphony 4 points 1y ago
All i can think of is that by the time the order is ready to be picked up everything is tepid and gross. Whips go flat pretty quickly.
Emmykinz77 2 points 1y ago
And the fraps get all funky too 😫😫😫 and then with the ribbon crunch or cookie crumble the whip cream starts to move around😥
CapableArtist123 3 points 1y ago
I thought this was my store, we have the same exact layout LMAOO
bearwytch 2 points 1y ago

👁👄👁
KidKonundrum 2 points 1y ago
Damn they must be a water tank if they are drinking all that.
Acedre123 1 points 1y ago
Thats absolutely insanely impressive you did that though there needs to be a drink limit on the order thats just ridiculous you had to do that on your own!
crackcuttinjoe 1 points 1y ago
This is honestly so rude for not calling ahead. People think we’re robots or something. I have a similar story. I had a 40 item food order and 4 travelers 10 minutes after an open. The customer wanted us to have it ready for
a commercial they had planned for months. She asked if we could have it ready within 20 minutes. The customer expected our team to have it ready within in 10 mins or so. I explained to the customer that it will take 30 minutes at minimum due to staffing and timing. The customer was appalled. They not only wrote a nasty email but reported us on every social media platform possible for our store. Our out staffed team had everything ready in 30 minutes.

35 today at my store :/
GamingRacer 1 points 1y ago
As a McDonald’s employee, not sure why I’m here, I assume this is the equivalent of somebody ordering 80 nuggets cook to order and 10 mchickens.
RinnTheOtter 1 points 1y ago
Absof***inglutely not
sza5 1 points 1y ago
