What an absolute genius.
Lol
I always picture these people thinking they are the smartest person on earth, and when they get their drink, they have sort of shitty grin on their face.

You by standard should not fill this anywhere near full. The most milk by standard you can add to a drink when they order milk added is 4 oz, rinse your shot glass and measure it in that so you know you added the right amount.

This is the second time the customer has mobile ordered this, what do we say? Do we fill the cup all the way with milk? Do we charge for an extra cup of milk considering the drink they ordered doesn’t actually call for any milk..? Genuinely curious/slightly annoyed.

You could always go full r/MaliciousCompliance and give them a cup of matcha, three quarters of an inch of nonfat milk and then a whole lot of air
clumsycalico 56 points 1y ago
That is exactly what I do. When people try to get petty with the milks on the app, I get petty back and measure out exactly what they asked for. They come in and complain? “Sorry, I can’t give you any more without charging, I measured it appropriately.”
TheFriendlyFeminist 30 points 1y ago
Yup, at first I laughed when they added the measurements but now I’m grateful for it for exactly this reason

Last week I had a guy order a Pike with cream on the cafe POS. He said an inch of cream. I put “extra cream 3/4”” obviously and was getting it myself anyway. He saw it on the screen and got upset like I SAID ONE INCH NOT 3/4!!!! I was like dude I didn’t put the measurement on there and I heard you lol

Starbucks needs to get their ish together about milk charging and all of that stuff. They make it too easy to order stuff like this (after telling us not to make drinks in Trenta cups like Frappuccinos/lattes) but people still ask for it anyway because they want to make sure they get all of it so it’s not “wasted.” In my opinion, they shouldn’t even be able to add milk to a lemonade in the first place, they need better guidelines & restrictions that are crystal clear to the customer.

For real. All of these issues are starbucks problem. How on earth am I meant to make a frappuccino fit in any cup size when they add 6 shots and 25 pumps of syrups?? I physically cannot. And yet the limit for modifications is 12. TWELVE.

No, but the app will let you put in the mod regardless.
