I worked for like 2 and a half months before learning bar they just stuck me in drive everyday

It took me 6 months to get bar training and even then it wasn't even the typical training all the new baristas were getting and now I just get put in solo drive thru most of time since I'm good at although I hate solo drive thru

I've been with sbux almost 4 months and I'm *just* starting to get more bar time. I'm always on dto/dtr or ovens because that's what I'm fastest on; it took me asking for bar time when we were slow to get more training

i started bar day 2, is that not the norm? I've been here for four months and I know everything

I’ve been put on bar like six times in the 3 months I’ve worked at my store, warming gets old quick

I wasn’t trained until a year later because the first Starbucks I worked at was sketchy as hell, it doesn’t even exist anymore.

I haven’t been trained on register at all and I’ve been working there for nearly 2 months lol... granted I was a line cook before so bar came pretty naturally but still

i didnt get training for a month, my coworker has been here for 4 months and still hasnt gotten training

ive only had 2 hours max of training on bar so far 😅

meanwhile my second day they put me on bar lmao

After three weeks constantly on warming I said something because people that were hired AFTER me were getting put on bar. Like… ✋🏼😕

my fifth week and i finally got bar time👏🏻👏🏻

Been at my location for 3 months and I'm BARELY getting trained and even then it's mostly me asking what's goes in this when I am free and helping front bar.

The way training is is setup is ridiculous yea sure lets schedule them to train on bar during peak and oh lets make the trainer 1 of 2 required baristas stationed on bar hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

try asking your shift! they wouldnt stick me on bar either but when I would come in, I’d ask before they put anywhere if when it dies down, could I be put on bar perhaps. Some would remember and some wouldnt, but I was able to get okayish (for just starting) at bar by the end of my first month

3rd week? Try 3rd month

It should technically go by a week to week basis possibly a bit faster depending on you manager and trainer the order varies but posWindow\drive then customer support/ hand off plane /warming/then bar obviously some stores are slower so the hand off position might not exist but being there for three weeks and not having bar time is normal in my opinion some of my trainees have had to wait a month and a half before beginning bar.
