I feel no emotion when asked to put hot water in a mug. I've been asked to do it occasionally, it's not annoying at all
I've heard of some stores not giving out hot water or not handling personal cups, but most stores will probably do it

Not at all. No one's going to complain about being asked to do an extremely easy task. The orders we complain about are the super complicated ones!

Ehhh...
We all get pretty annoyed at our store at all the skater kids who come in just for free waters. Every. Day.
But they are also coming in right after school, our second peak of the day. So while we have a line of tags waiting to be made for paying customers, there's always a bunch of waters sitting between them. Just adding to the turnaround time.
