For vanilla bean, java chips, and all other frap & refresher inclusions, I always make sure it’s somewhat rounded, not level. Pretty sure that’s standard.

for brewed coffee, also slightly rounded.

for ice, absolutely level. every time. It really does make a difference in frappuccino & shaken espresso consistencies.

Matcha is the only one I try to make even, esp with frap chips I load them bitches in

i do level scoops of ice, matcha, vanilla bean, coffee beans/pour over grounds and the chocolate malt powder. but if it’s inclusions or java chips i don’t bother

We've got our cold bar stuff set up about/above shoulder height so when we're scooping we run the spoon under the edge of the lid and even it all out. Only exceptions are inclusions and Java chips

standard is rounded scoop for most things. a lot of people say level for ice but I find that my frappuccinos are watery if the ice is perfectly level, idk why.

I only level ice, anything else basically gets doubled lol, because why not

Consistency...

However, it seems rounded on everything, but ice is the standard
