You ever read your store’s yelp review’s? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Darcie_Autham
Just for sh*ts and giggles?

I read them for entertainment mostly since the ratings they give should be taken with a grain of salt.

Speaking of which… half of the reviewers are salty af.

One person docked stars bc of the loiterers OUTSIDE OF THE STORE. Not even the stuff within our control was rated negatively. It’s usually complaints about *surprise Pikachu face* shortages!

Only the comments about customer service I take somewhat seriously since… well, perception is reality.

Also hygienic practices… customers expect a clean store and clean personnel to match. Those are reasonable concerns.

Other than that, it’s just funny to read what people took time out of their busy day to rant about.

Oh yeah. It's funny as hell. We have one who calls out an old shift by name, it's so entertaining

One review complained how the teens working are planning some “revolutionary coupe” and complained that we don’t have a ceramic sections of merch bc “hippies love making pottery” and the whole store just loves that review

someone wrote a review complaining that we “hoard our sweet cream for ourselves” (this was posted before i started) but in reality we just ran out of it and couldn’t make anymore (had a coworker explain it when i asked them bc i thought it was hilarious)

Lol yes! And even when they don’t name the barista by name I knew exactly who they were talking about at least for the morning shift crew
