our store was out of chai, vanilla, sweet cream, whip cream, raspberry syrup, oatmilk, and almond milk. people were soooooo rude

I hate to say this but this is so normal for us now 💀 I walk into store just ready to tell customers that we don’t have this, this, or that. We’re also short on staff so imagine how fun that is

We are using knockoff grande/venti lids because we have been out

This was us a month ago in a SoCal store we had customers yelling at us for something we can’t control 😭

The fact that we can’t make grande/venti hot drinks in itself is no big deal. The issues come from the customers not understanding/throwing a fit

I’m in San Diego. Our DM had to go all the way to Anaheim for lids us. They’re not even Starbucks lids, they’re black 7-11 style lids lol.

For the past few days my store has been out of
- straws
- venti/grande hot lids
- non dairy milk (except for coconut milk)
- cake pops / cookies / danishes & croissants
- mango dragonfruit
- half & half
- coffee base
…we get yelled at almost everyday, why are we still open lol

Today we ran out of nonfat milk and the POS doesn’t allow us to mark out nonfat milk so mobiles were pouring in, and we had to wait until they came in to modify their drinks. It was a nightmare.

For the last two weeks, our whole district has had severe shortages. We haven’t gotten a single order when we were supposed to. They’re coming a day late or two days late or in the middle of morning peak.

Ours is out of chai and having a lid shortage. We also go through milk and heavy cream like crazy

we had no sandwiches of any kind today and sugar cookie lots of people drove off

I’m in the same area too… at the moment we’re using these ugly lids from Costco for grande and venti hot lids..

My store didn’t even have change only pennies

I remember when, at my last location, we ran out of (hot) tall cups and (hot) grande/venti lids. We already had a ton of orders, so ppl were just getting their drinks without lids (we asked if they wanted a refund or something else, but nobody did). Everyone was really nice about it 🥰

We are out of every alternative milk 🥲. A few weeks before we were out of venti and grande iced cups and had no lids for grands or venti hot drinks as well as being out of white mocha and espresso (we were using pike) LMAO. Target sbux.

We ran out at about 4pm today.

other stores in my district just closed when they ran out of lids.
