The only way to answer this would be to know if you have been vaccinated or not. I am going to assume you are in the US.

If you are vaccinated, you are fine to continue working unless you are showing symptoms, IIRC. You should still get tested ASAP. If you are unvaccinated, you need to isolate.

I ran into a similar issue where my partner had been exposed to covid at their job by one of the children (they run a daycare) and we live together/share a bed but they STILL made me come to work. This was Prevaccination. I was told if i was not directly exposed i had to work. Needless to say it made me really uncomfortable and upset

what everyone else said, however if you are okay to work according to the covid coach but are uncomfortable potentially exposing your coworkers, you can just call in sick. they don’t need to know your sickness reason (tell them it’s not covid related while waiting for test results, then if you test positive say you took a rapid test that day and tested positive) (protects everyone while not making you isolate for longer than you need to if you’re negative) and cannot legally ask what kind of “sick” you are. technically this is bending the rules but… calling in sick is legally protected and retaliation against you for calling in sick and/or attempting to use sick time is illegal. just be sly if you go this route. even though it’s not technically against policy it’s kind of a grey area because you aren’t experiencing symptoms but the covid coach says you’re fine but you were exposed and there’s no right answer. do what feels best to you, i would call in sick
