Bariatas: do you have work specific clothes? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by 10pumpsclassic
So many times, I want to do something after work. I also want to dress better. But I have work specific clothes. Their clothes I don't mind getting dirty, because I don't want to wear nice clothes to work/ruin my clothes. I could bring clothes to work, but then, I'd have to bring a bag and I typically like to be hands free when I'm out and about. But my clothes after a shift, smells like coffee, milk, and espresso. Super strong.
Whats the solution to this dilemma? I usually just run home immediately and shower, putting on a fresh set, but I'm curious to know if there's a better way.

Depending on the level of the engagement I would either bring a change (most commonly for me it was athletic wear, but that's probably not what you're talking about) or more likely go home and shower. If it was anything more than a short informal social engagement, I really wanted to get the smell and feel of work completely off me and the stuff I wore to work was only for work. I also mostly worked mornings, so there was usually more than enough time to go home and shower.

I personally have a few outfits I swap between for work. If you wanted to do something right after working I'd bring an extra set or atleast like a different top. I find my pants aren't much of an issues as long as I don't do dishes (I splash way too much water lmao) or maybe even wear an extra layer. I love collared shirts under sweaters, cute and if the sweater gets messy or it's hot? Boom fashionable underneath too.
