honestly the best thing to do would probably to ask the customers specifically what is wrong. if they just say “this is wrong remake it” that’s absolutely ridiculous and I would not do it

The only thing I could think when I read the first drink is jfc what the actual f* is wrong with people. That is a seriously obnoxious drink to make *once*, much less every damn day-- not to mention the specific hassle of the uncut cold brew since it's automixed in the kegs, therefore requiring you to get a cube from the back (wtf.) But to get on a goddamn high horse about small variations in your tiktok devil's brew is just so entitled it's gross.

We had a regular at my first store who had a *very* severe dairy allergy. She got a (reasonavly modified) Frappuccino every morning, and it had to be made in a newly cleaned blender pitcher from the back. The moment we saw her enter the Cafe, one of us would grab the pitcher and start her drink. That Christmas she brought us a *huge* gift basket and gift cards for each of us and a very sweet card thanking us for accommodating her and "not making her feel like a weirdo for asking" (lol her words.)

We would have bent over backwards to make sure her drink was perfect, whereas I wouldn't pour a black Pike's for these entitled uber-customizing bitches.

There is no right way. It’s always going to be wrong no matter what because THEY ARE THE PROBLEM. You will never be able to make someone happy who is determined to be unhappy.

Lately, my usual unmodified vsccb is noticeably different every time. Fairly drastic variations along the brown-white spectrum. It has become somewhat of a game at this point, trying to guess what I’ll get on the spinning wheel of sweet cream. Last week one day, no vanilla syrup. Not worth fighting the horde of scowling Karens with their 27 mod fupaccinos to go back in and get it corrected, though.

I’m amazed anyone is still working at my nearby store, given the beating they take on a daily basis, so I just take whatever I get and feel fortunate they are open at all.

Honestly, the first mistake for the second customer was them allowing her to get it in a Trenta cup. Isn't that not allowed ?

I always say if your drink is that complicated then make it yourself like how are they so specific in everything? They must’ve been a partner

I can’t imagine being such an aHole. One time they gave me the wrong drink in the drive thru somehow and I just said thanks and went about my day. It was tasty just not something I’d usually order so it was no big deal.

I had these regulars that wouldn’t let new partners learn their drinks. They’d always ask for remakes or yell at the barista on bar to get someone who knew how to do it… so disrespectful.
