last year on Christmas a lady came up to my coworker to take her drink that she had ordered and said "wow, they're making you work today?" followed by, in a fucking stage whisper, "on *jesus's birthday??*"

My coworker, who had volunteered to work because she doesn't celebrate Christmas or care, and who has a smarmy response for *everything*, was rendered completely speechless.

We only have one espresso machine working.. mobile orders are turned off, regulars are still assholes…
