Time worked is time paid. If you are picking up product for a store, you are on the clock.

If you're getting it before your shift, you should get paid for the time to pickup the supplies, less your normal commute to work.
So if you normally drive 30 minutes to work, and picking up supplies turned your commute into 45 minutes, you'd only get paid for the extra 15 minutes, not the full 45 minutes (since you'd normally need to drive to work anyways).

Being a closing lead, I picked up stuff on my way to my store all the time. My SM always adjusted my clock in to whenever I got to the neighboring store. I never asked for mileage because it was usually on my way to work anyway, and I didn’t feel like filling out paperwork for like 80 cents.
