today was my first time ever working in christmas day. customers are unbelievably rude , we closed at 3 and cars kept lining up in drive thru. my shift told people kindly to get out of line because we had to close and people straight up said no. also if i have to hear someone say “sorry in advance, i have a huge order” ever again, i will lose my mind

It was my first Christmas too, surprised people were shittier than usual. It's so ridiculous. We set up cones in our drive thru at close and some people drove right over them and attempted to order. Fucking unbelievable how dense people are.

omg my sm and a co worker of mine , blocked the entrance to the drive thru with their cars and people still found a way around them to get in line . it’s unbelievable

Omg people do that allll the time at our store during holiday season or if we ever have to close early. It's incredible that they think we won't notice.

People just lose their minds. It’s incredible. Like, the logic you have to create in your mind to think “oh, they’ll serve me if I just crash through this barricade and sneak in.”

This was my second time working Xmas, but closing instead of morning. The amount of people who complained when we closed was outstanding. “Sorry we stopped taking orders at 6!” “Are you KIDDING? I waited in this line for NOTHING?” Like for real, it’s CHRISTMAS. Maybe we have families we want to see too, it’s not our fault you didn’t plan accordingly to get your coffee fix on a damn holiday. One grown ass man retaliated by blasting his music while he was stuck at the order box.

I was just coming to say that. I’m sorry and we’re closed. Put a sign on the box and the window and ignore them. We closed at 3 on Xmas eve and day(not a drive through) and I had people pulling on the door. Told them sorry.
