To all of the customers today who were patient and kind, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To all of the customers who decided to come in ordering 15 drinks, yelling at us to move faster when you see 55+ drink tickets, trying to order drinks at the window when you see our line is wrapped around the building, swarming the counter and harassing every barista insight about your bacon gouda sandwich, yelled at us for closing early because “since you waited in line you’re entitled to your drinks”, fuck you. I truly mean it.
My store is the second highest selling point in the district and today was hell. I cannot even begin to explain it. Understaffed, call offs, mobiles still on and getting 7 part drink orders back to back (not including the 5-8 part drink orders through cafe). We’re tired. You chose to come to a starbucks on Christmas Day. YOU alone made that decision. It is not a single baristas fault that you had to wait. You saw the lines, saw all of the people standing waiting for drinks, saw all of the drinks waiting to be claimed and still decided to go order 15 frappuccino’s and then have the AUDACITY to complain about wait time. I am so tired of all of the customers being so ungrateful at our store and jsut asking asking asking, never showing any sign of appreciation. Just a thank you would be nice sometimes, but instead I get drinks snatched out of my hands before I can even set them down. Youdecided to come to the busiest starbucks in the area on christmas, i hope someone shit in your eggnog
-Sincerely a burner out barista
