Using sick time for last shift (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hi, I recently quit and put in 3 shifts worth of sick time in the book (all within the last 2 weeks). My manager didn’t pay it out to me for my last paycheck… should I call partner resources or my manager? I know I’m entitled to them. I had around 27hrs of sick time and only wrote in ~21 hours worth.

Sick time can only be used when you’re sick or needing to request off for doctors appointments etc. Unfortunately it can’t be “cashed out” the way you’re describing. You can call PRSC but that is likely the answer they’ll give you

Yes and I found coverage for those times and wrote it in the book afterwards. By cashed out I mean paid out to me. I didn’t just randomly write times in the book to have the money in my bank account

Those are applied to each paycheck after the sick time is applied, not all at once
