Confused about covid rules??(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Separate-Sand-5710
So my fiancé has had a fever all day yesterday and this morning as well as a cough and we’re not sure if it’s covid, I have no symptoms at all and I’m confused if I have to have symptoms in order to be out or have tested positive. Another partners brother tested positive and she lives with him and has been forced to work since she has no symptoms. The whole thing seems crazy to me but wanted to see if you guys know anything about the rules.

If you are vaccinated and your partner tests positive, you are still able to work. If you are not vaccinated then you will need to self isolate.

Unless they live together. Ongoing close contact with a positive person (ie living together) would fail the covid coach.
OP: your best bet is searching the subreddit for the covid coach link and doing that. Answer the questions truthfully and communicate the results to your manager.

Actually in the COVID coach you do not have to self isolate if you have ongoing close contact with someone and you are fully vaccinated.

Incorrect. Close contact (working with) and ongoing close contact (intimate relationships like living with) are labeled in the covid coach. I suggest you review the verbiage.

I suggest you read the COVID coach in full, when it tells you to self isolate for 10 days, it also says if you are vaccinated and have self disclosed, you do NOT need to isolate.
