okay but the honey packets?!

Yeah. But what’s more annoying… us having to open sugar/spends packets OR after are done with the drink and hand it to them, they are asking you for packets of sugar and milk on the side and a stir, and a little more milk….

Does anyone experience opening up multiple sugar packets, only to breath in a giant huff of it? I swear, it happens no matter what I do

I started getting good at ripping open 3-5 packets at a time but every so often I lose one in the bottom of the cup 😔

I've been saying for the past 4 years I've worked for bucks that we should get the dispensers. I also worked at Chic fil a for a bit and they have dispensers and each push of the button is measured to one packet. And to top it off it would be cheaper to buy bulk sugar/sweeteners instead of a box of individual packets....but they also waste money on a lot of stuff so whatever

I’ve got a regular sweet woman who gets a tall pike in a grande cup with 20 raw sugar, with room and cream on the side (sometimes twice a day) and when I tell you no amount of stirring gets it to settle. I worry about her when she comes in

i don't really mind. like yeah it's annoying sometimes but some people are diabetic but still like to drink sweet things, some people are just trying to cut down on sugar. it sucks but it's better to just do and not just put classic in instead. ive seen so many people do it and it makes me upset. ive also learned how to rip them all at one time so idk

Hate that!! Especially now that sugars can be out for guest! Anything more than 3 sugars needs to be done themselves!

We have a regular that gets an iced coffee with 14 stevia, classic, caramel, extra caramel drizzle, extra heavy cream, and VSCCF.

I have found that (at least at my store) the magical number for raw sugars is 12. The amount of customers I have that put 12 raw sugars into drinks is kind of insane.

Just wow! I would never ask someone to do that for me! I do it myself. That’s just crazy.

Pro-tip: grab up to five packets at a time, pile them up and hold them by one corner. Once the powder falls to the bottom of the inside of the packets, tear them in half with a firm grasp on both sides of your little packet stack. All that shit's gonna pour out at once. Throw the wrappers away immediately. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be making 10 Splenda drinks so quickly.

Sorry you don't like a part of your job. People request a shit ton of sugar that they don't need, but cmon it's not that bad. It's annoying when I have to go over there and do it when I'm on bar, but that's just part of being a barista

Used to. But now I get an iced tea drink for my husband that he’s obsessed with that uses 7 splenda in it.
He literally asks for it by saying “hun can u bring home a seven Splenda drink?”

Can’t complain anymore cause now it’s something I frequently order for my husband and self. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ya’ll should try it though it’s iced green tea with water strawberry base and 7 Splenda in a venti.

Sometimes we just gotta suck it up and realize it’s just part of our job and doesn’t reaaaaaaally take THAT long 💓
