Ask your SM to send you a copy of the COVID policies or look it up on the PartnerHub. This doesn’t sound right, but every state is different.

I’m in California.. I’m just more in shock that I can return to work so quick even though i still have it.. he showed me copy of the king paper work but I’m going to re look at it. Cause I would feel weird working and be like oh yeah I got Covid still here
funktionones 1 points 1y ago
didn’t the cdc just shorten it for 5 days?
TheDoorMatts 1 points 1y ago
No clue, but best case is that the SM sends the COVID policy and that holds both parties accountable to knowing the official policy.

Don't do it if it doesn't feel right. If you have wny sick hours, talk to your manager about using some.

Please don’t go to work. Contact hr if u need to. Don’t put peoples lives at stake
crzyshiba 7 points 1y ago
That’s what IM saying .. I refuse to go back if I don’t test negative yet.. cause I just couldn’t work knowing I’m still positive, and going to call partner resource
Bhaisaab86 4 points 1y ago
I’m currently out because someone in my store tested positive and I worked with them the day before they got tested.

I was told that I could come back if I got a negative test result, and then got another negative test result no less than 24 hours after the first. Pretty sure this is the policy for isolation at Starbucks.

Thank you for looking out for others

I’m a teacher and we have to have a negative covid test to come back - same for students.

the CDC says 5 days now if you aren’t experiencing symptoms anymore. tho thats really scary :/
impasse602 3 points 1y ago
Its because the cdc dropped the 14 day isolation period to only 5 days if your a laborer and can be cut down even shorter if the business is short staffed
burntbeancrock 3 points 1y ago
Even if you can, please don’t go back. Follow what you know is right, and don’t let your SM pressure you. I would be devastated if i found out a fellow partner did that considering the 2 high risk and infant in my household.

Have you gotten another test? How long has it been since you tested positive?
crzyshiba 3 points 1y ago
I got tested Sunday the 26 and was going to get re tested on the 6th day cause that’s was the guy said to see if I still have it. Cause I got my whole house sick
Ordinary-Theory-8289 2 points 1y ago
Well it should be 10 days from your positive test if you’re no longer experiencing symptoms for 24hr s
saint-ives 4 points 1y ago
The CDC just recently changed their recommendation to 5 days 🥴
crzyshiba 2 points 1y ago
I’m going to look cover our policy cause that just doesn’t seem right at all .. and I got time to look it up
Ordinary-Theory-8289 0 points 1y ago
What do you mean it doesn’t seem right? That’s been the guidelines put out by the cdc Since this thing started lol
Ok-Mycologist9011 2 points 1y ago
they just changed the CDC guidelines. After 5 days you can return to work if you’re masked. That’s what CDC is saying anyway. Could be in relation to that
