I mean at first it’s cool but like it’ll kinda be the death of small business boba shops. I love to visit local shops and support Asian owned businesses but when Starbucks offers it that is so gonna impact profits. Idk I understand not everywhere has boba shops so it would be a huge advantage for those people but I just can’t help but wonder if that outweighs the damage it could do to so many shops. Maybe I’m wrong idk I’ll happily admit so but it just doesn’t seem…. Right??

Well it's not regular tapioca pearls/boba, and from what I've heard, it has a bitter coffee taste and the pearls are tiny and subpar in taste.

For me I'm just kind of thinking of the mess. Cold bar is already a beyotch to keep clean some times. Add sticky, squishy pearls to that and the floors.. I mean it's pretty cool, for sure, but I feel like it's just one more thing to think about.
