no you did the right thing you’re supposed to ask them to show you the order on their end to make sure they actually purchased it. thats always what my supervisors do, if the cup said 1 of 1 theres no reason for you to think theres anything else in the order. she may have forgotten to order it with her drink and ordered it separately? ive had that happen and then the drink and food come out separately. either way dont feel bad she was unnecessarily rude to you, you were just doing your job

seriously though, yall were moving at a humans pace and trying to identify the source of the problem while also making sure she got what she paid for. all the fault is on ms 6am

The only thing I would think to check is your printer settings for MOP? For peak/off-peak we had a weird thing where some of the food stickers wouldn’t print but the stickers would explode them from the # of #. Like there were five food items, three of them didn’t get sent to the printer so it just said 2 of 2. Maybe this doesn’t apply but it ravaged our store for a solid day so either way, be mindful of this lol.
