Lol idk if the title makes sense but I had a customer in drive today ask if he could pay for his order (one drink) with two different cards. He clarified he wanted to pay only $4.00 on one card and the rest on another. I asked if there was only $4.00 on the card he gave me because other wise I don’t think I can. He said yes, and so I swiped the card and it paid for the full order. I told him and he got mad at me ? Is there a way to separate a payment like that on my end ? The only way I could imagine is if there was only $4.00 in that account and he payed for the rest with his other card bc I’ve never done that before. I just told him since it was only one drink I wasn’t able to separate the order but like ?? Idk was I wrong?? He just left angry at me but 🤷🏻‍♀️ also this is my first job working as a cashier so I honestly have no idea lol
