The 2 week nesting period comes out of your accured sick or vacation pay, if you plan to quit anyway you can use it all up during those 2 weeks and the 12 week unpaid period.

Just don’t go back. Keep it quite till all those weeks are up. When you manager calls with the return date that’s when you quit. You should be paid for the two weeks “nesting period “ then 6 weeks for a vaginal brith or 8 for a c section. Just pretend like it’s all good till the last minute so no one messes with your paid leave . :)
