we’ve been having a hard week due to weather and short staffing and our SM has been going above and beyond to make sure us baristas aren’t stressed or worried about getting to work during the conditions. being on this subreddit has really made me appreciate how much she cares about us and our well-being and I hope she knows how much we all value that

I’m happy to see something like this! My sm tries her best to make things less stressful for us and we can talk to her about *anything*- about work or not. I couldn’t imagine having an sm that doesn’t genuinely care about us!! I guess they’re few and far between though
