we need to be stricter about these types of ppl.. they always say we can’t do anything until they bodily cross the line but why are we willing to risk that

Is rolling your eyes dramatically against policy if it’s a tick that you have(like a medical condition you can’t get blamed for?). It’s easy to be cynical and petty.
A good answer would be, ‘I’m too young to be married and hearing that makes me uncomfortable.’ Seriously this is the world you’re going to be dealing with in retail. Shut them down politely.

there was this creepy weird guy who seemed overly nice and was asking questions to all the female employees and i had my back turned and he was yelling at me saying “i hope you have a good day” even though i never interacted with him and when i pretended not to hear he went up to another female employee and was like make sure she knows i told her to have a good day and pointed at me. like please get out of the building. also he asked another girl how old she was

I know this post is a little older but if a customer is disrupting the third place policy, your SSV or SM can have a polite word to ask them to stop or leave.

We have one guy that was winking at one of our baristas. He is easily in his low 60s and she, while being an adult, looks like a minor. He is there everyday as a school tutor 🤮
