Okay so due to the vaccine disclosure whenever someone at my job tests positive for Covid I go out and get tested. Cuz I’ve worked shifts with people that get Covid but I don’t go out on leave cuz I’m vaxxed. Well I got tested and my results came back positive. I don’t go out and like we have three partners with Covid so a lot of people are out on isolation. I’m like 99% sure I got it from a coworker, but am I still gonna get paid quarantine??

Positive test means quarantining for 10 days. You will get paid if you have disclosed your vaccine status and you have not already used your two rounds of CAT pay. If you don’t have symptoms it’s 10 days from your positive test.

You get two paid 10 day Isolations dating back to the start of the pandemic. Starting 1/3, your isolations switch from ten days to five, but you'll get two per quarter that are paid instead of two for the whole pandemic.

Also if your vaccine status isn't disclosed you are ineligible for isolation pay. If you disclose it, you're eligible, vaxed or not.

Per quarter??! like 8 per year if needed/used?
DaddyGray694 points1y ago
Yep! Starting the 3rd.

Even if we’ve already used our previous isolation pay?
DaddyGray691 points1y ago
Correct. They're updating because this variety is so intense that literally everyone is probably getting hit at least once or twice.

Oh thank god

Yeah you should get paid for whatever you were scheduled to do & can’t do for 10 days from your test
Good luck comrade—I’m guessing it’s not bad rn bc you got a routine test not a test due to noticing symptoms—hope it stays that way
