So I just started working at SB and I've had two shifts so far and I'm handling bar okay but I keep being told different recipes from different people, is there a way I can find UK specific recipes?🤔
I haven't been given any to learn other than as I go on bar but when it's busy I keep forgetting specifics and I'm better at memorising in my own time.
With closing and opening I'm not really being told what to do in terms of cleaning tasks etc or in what order to clean what, if there's anyone who could give me a "to do" list that would be helpful as well.
I end up just observing and watching because I don't want to interrupt or be a nuisance but that means we take longer to open and close etc 😭

I am in the USA, so I don’t know if you have the same things we do, but we have iPads with all resources from tasks at time of day to recipes. It takes a moment but it is a good resource to have for times like that.

We don’t. We have the Beverage Resource Manual to consult - OP if there’s any specific questions you have I’m happy to help! Opening, there shouldn’t be anything to clean (right at open). Closing, the tasks are listed in the DRN but each store will do things in the order that makes the most sense for them. Try look around and restock if you’re needing something to do (ice, milks, cups, syrups etc). Wipe down a surface or a cabinet, go clear tables.
