I was straight up scheduled for 11 days straight, all 8+ hr shifts, that bounce everywhere (opening two days, then a mid, then a close, then an open etc.) and I just wanna know what the fuck these managers are on

they're not on anything they just don't care about you or your health.

1. I agree. 2. I very much enjoy your screen name.

My manager has blamed the scheduling software over and over. As a shift team we have complained enough that he at least started looking to minimize clopens.

We have 8 partners isolated right so with all the shifts I picked up I am working 2 weeks straight 😵‍💫 I am a workaholic though so it’s fine lol

My record is 18 in a row. 6 people total fired from 2 stores in my district and any amount of overtime was approved and being dumb I was like yes money. Ended up with 57 hours in a single week and could hardly make coherent sentences by the end of that streak.

I’ve done 11 days before, it’s not the worst but it’s not great

9 days is not that much. You will get through this, just be careful next time you're scheduling your life. And buy yourself something nice as a reward.

9 is a bit for me because the most i usually do is 6 days and i know im exhausted and excited to have 3 days off, but it really was my fault so i really gotta start saying no to covering shifts lol
