Don't care, I just ask if they want extra milk and go to town. I only ask because I am obligated.
While we're here, the real monsters are people who ask for fraps with light or no ice.
italiangreyhoundluvr7 points1y ago
i’m sorry did you say fraps with no ice
smaidit5 points1y ago
we get them all the time especially with uber eats

SAME. One time I called the customer and explained. There was just silence on the other end and then they said, get I just get more coffee in it? I gave up after that.
beanbeanthrowaway23 points1y ago
I guess I don’t understand this. When I worked in jobs like this where I was underpaid and overworked I did not give a single hoot about customers “getting one over”. The milk isn’t coming out of your fridge at home, it’s coming out of the bottom line paid to the top 1% of the company.
I now work in a corporate office and can say we never get reports saying “ worker A saved us 20$ this year by not giving customers extra milk!” If the customer is a jerk, then I’d happily not give them the extra. But if they’re nice, not being rude, and aren’t making my life harder then who cares 🤷🏻♀️

I had a guy ask for shaken espresso with no ice and was mad specific in how everything was. Like dude if ur drink is that complicated make it at home
legoshis7 points1y ago
i am a green bean so i’m sorry if this is dumb! but if light ice means it won’t be full, why couldn’t we just fill to the top with milk for them ?
dovened-33 points1y ago
Standard recipe for the shaken espressos is 2/3/4 shots of espresso and 4oz of milk. So when someone asks for light ice I just inform them that it will have extra milk, which is also an extra charge.
Ristrettooo31 points1y ago
The recipe card says to fill it to the top with milk - there’s no written standard for using only 4 oz. A weekly update after the drink was released clarified that the milk is built into the cost of the drink and there’s no charge for adding extra, although you still charge for non-dairy substitutes. The cup should always be full unless someone asks for room
happybowtiethefirst11 points1y ago
Why would you charge them extra lmao
haydensidun2 points1y ago
No it’s not? The standard recipe is to fill it with milk to the top. As someone who described the standard recipe you should know that
champshere1 points1y ago
Idgas I don’t fill up anything.
blo0ming-2 points1y ago
Sure thing just remember that it’s only going to be like half full unless you want to pay for more!
