did anyone else apply at starbucks w the hope of a true coffee shop and human connection only to realize its just fastfood (self.starbucksbaristas)

Granted I haven't worked in a location with DT only a licensed kiosk but at my store I find I can actually take my time and connect with customers and have that more coffee shop feel

Same here. I work at a licensed Target store and I actually love it for the most part. It does get insanely busy, but i’m definitely able to connect more with customers and my team. I consider myself lucky.

And many people who work at Starbucks don’t even drink coffee 😒
