There is no hour guarantee for what you will be scheduled. Your manager can shift you down to 17 (or less) hours. You do have the options to cover shifts at your store or others near you. Try to join the facebook group in your area to start grabbing some more hours.
If you are scheduled and your store is open during those hours then your SM cannot force send you home early. They can ask if you want to, but you can decline at tell them you will be working the hours you were scheduled. If they force it escalate it to your DM or PRSC.
And for this last benefits window it was still set at 450, which is 17.3 per week. I’m not sure about the one we start this month.

Hours always get cut in January for the start of the first fiscal quarter. They should go up again once we're past the first part of the year.
You can talk to your store manager about it but it's not something they have much control over beyond spreading the hours out to everyone on the schedule.

i’m glad i’m not the only one. went from 17-20 hours a week to 9-10 hours a week (i’m a minor in high school but even shifts are getting like 23 hours a week)
