while it’s your supervisor’s responsibility to make sure you’re up to date, it is your responsibility to keep yourself informed. All of the launch information has been available on the ipad for over a month and the weekly update is always on the partner hub home page. Thankfully the recipe is super easy!! best of luck to your team during this launch :) 🤍

Partner hub is the website! You can log on at partner.starbucks.com. if you are using the computer at work, you can access the weekly updates by clicking on store communications at the top left of the screen. These should be printed out and read by everyone weekly! There also was winter training in MyLearning that was supposed to get done also but no one knew about that at my store either cause we were distracted by so many closures, isolations, and hours changing lol

I work in a Tarbucks. Any employee can log into Workbench (through MyDay tools tab on a MyDevice or on a store computer) and search for “Starbucks weekly update”

Is there a way for me to access that through Workday/ not on a Target device? No one in our Tarbucks besides our TL regularly carries a Zebra and the computers are always in use.

Haha no worries not rude! We have a fairly small back room that we share with Pizza Hut, so the winter launch stuff was all kept boxed up on a stile in the main Target back room area. They didn’t unbox it until yesterday afternoon, and all the boxes were just labeled “winter launch”.

If you have a Master barista they should be printing it it'll your TL isn't. If not take advantage and log on to work bench, search weekly update. Sometimes it's delayed so you can print on Tuesdays. You also should be getting now brewing and recipe cards auto shipped. If you aren't getting materials you really should bring it up to your LS district manager

Silly question: does the master barista get the black apron? I’ve never heard anyone use that term (but I was a holiday hire so maybe I just haven’t been there long enough to have someone say it.) When was the last update for the recipe cards?? Ours are from 01/2021 so I think they’re probably a bit out of date 😅

Some do dome don't. Master baristas are usually the "shift lead" or extremely underpaid "assistant manager" we got new cards about 2 weeks before the pistachio launch. Before that we got them with the holiday launch. But I also make sure I have everything so my guests have the best tasting beverages and our scores stay high. For my store Master barista is introduced on day one along with the TL and all the other important people in the building its entire possible you don't have one.

Master barista was a program they had where you could earn the black apron after a bunch of extra training, but they discontinued the program several years ago. I don't think there's really any official use for it anymore but some people still have the certification, which means they're long term partners who know what they're doing so it makes sense to introduce them to green beans.

Hmmmm maybe you’re right and we don’t have one then 🤔 I’m gonna be honest I don’t even know if we have a shift lead as I’ve never heard that term while I’ve been working here. I’m also at a store that’s not a part of the continental US so things have a tendency to take longer to reach us. I know we had none of the new merchandise for todays launch.
Also a further probably silly question but is work bench different from Workday?? I’m trying to figure out how I can access these weekly updates since several comments have noted that I should be able to

I, a lone long time supervisor, print out the updates every Monday, and post it on the back freezers by the schedules but no one really cares. I used to have every one sign off when they read it, but none of the closers cared. It’s hard to care when a manager doesn’t

My manger prints out the weekly update and it’s required for us to read it and everything else she prints out for us to even get our tips. We also have to do it to get our bean mark out. So we never in the dark about anything. I’ve know about this release for a month and a half.
