sooooooo my city has a blizzard warning and i drive a little car. my store is closed and has been for a couple hours. i’m scheduled 4-8:30, just a little shift, and i called and they said i’m still supposed to show up for my whole shift. wtf. why :( that is all.

If you EVER feel unsafe please do not risk it in the future. You are more valuable and any job is absolutely not worth risking your life for. Stay safe but do not be afraid to refuse, especially if your store isn't in operation!

i think it was like a <5 minute drive. and we tipped good. but i still would’ve rather been at home than at my work eating a slice of pizza while mopping
