Pumps (self.starbucksbaristas)

Seems so silly.
Hot/iced drinks get—
2/3/4/5/(6)

And cold drinks get half as much. x/1.5/2/ x/(3)/ 3.5

Why not just make all the pumps the same with the same kind of pump?

Are you referring to the half dose pumps? Used to be called CBS or cold beverage station?

Because it’s only for certain fraps and ice teas and such. The only pumps that have a half dose pump are the brown sugar, the liquid cane sugar, and maybe a caramel one for frappucinos.

Otherwise, it’s regular full pumps. Espresso drinks get the same amount, typically.

Hot drinks: s/t/g/v 2/3/4/5
Iced drinks: t/g/v/trenta 3/4/6/7

Yes. The cold bar pumps work with the formula. It’s when you have to reach over to the hot bar pumps. For instance Irish Cream syrup.

ahhh okay I think I misunderstood your post lol.

Yeah it is kinda silly to have two separate pump systems. Just makes everything more complicated for no reason

Yes. What is so special about hot beverages that require pumps that deliver more flavor. Wouldn't you want the same amount of flavor (syrup) across lattes, iced lattes, cold brews, and frappuccinos?

iced lattes shouldnt be getting the cold bar pumps? it's only cold brew and fraps that should be getting half pumps but lattes should be made with full pumps

Wait, iced lattes get hot bar pumps, or full dose pumps. All espresso beverages get full dose pumps except the shaken ones.

When we say “cold bev drinks,” we’re talking about fraps, iced teas, and refreshers. That’s where the half dose pumps typically come in.
