I get this was pretty scary at the time. That was back when literally everyone was rushing to Costco and cleaning the shelves, leaving literally no food left in stores.
However, now we have very effective vaccines *and* treatments available. Combine that with the evidence that Omicron (despite spreading rapidly) causes illness that is significantly less severe. While we should be cautious, I don’t think it’s cause to be panicked or overly frightened to the point of having to speak to the head of HR. Starbucks is going to follow the established CDC guidelines and this isn’t going to change. There’s not really a comparison to be made between February/March of 2020 and now. Posts like this just contribute to unnecessary anxiety and panic.
