What happens if after the 10 days of quarantine I’m still symptomatic? I’m fully vaxxed, but I don’t have my booster and I still just feel really really sick. I have a low-grade fever and joint pain

you’re absolutely not supposed to go to work until you are fever free for 24 hours with no medication. if you aren’t financially dependent on working very soon, you should not go into work until you are no longer sick. everyone’s body and healing time is different, and the CDC is probably just shortening the quarantine time so poor wittle businesses can have their staff back faster

At this point you are allowed back if symptoms are improving and the fever goes away for 24 hours. They won’t pay you any more CAT pay. You can start using sick time and vacation time to cover missed days. If your miss more then a few more you will need to look into a LOA to protect your job.
