No, it’s not wrong. It’s following the policy and CDC guidelines assuming the person is boosted. Exposure while vaccinated doesn’t require isolation, unless that person tests positive or has symptoms.
In your case, it’s not even exposure. It’s *exposure to a person who had exposure*. That isn’t even remotely something that would mean you can’t come to work

If he’s fully vaccinated then he is allowed to work . It’s so stupid but Starbucks allows it .

My manager said you get sick pay if you are exposed to a covid positive coworker.
When it’s his gf, and not himself... I’m not quite sure if there’s anything you can do. I had a similar concern and my manger told me if I’m really that uncomfortable I can find coverage... but I still need the money.
They should not be forcing exposed ppl to come to work and you and I should not be forced to miss out on work for being uncomfortable with that policy. Ridiculous

Not wrong at all! Ugh I swear I am in a constant state of “what do I do” because it’s like I need money but at the same time when I get sick I don’t want to bring it to my coworkers. I’m lucky enough that my manager is very understanding but even so I feel bad when I call out cause we’ve been having a lot of those because people keep getting sick 😷

That’s weird. One of our shifts had to isolate because their kid had Covid.

i was exposed to covid over christmas, let my manager know when i found out (last weekend) and asked if i shouldnt show up to my shift and get a test, the rule is; as long as you haven't been in contact with them within 48 hours, you'll be fine. but he literally lives with her, take that shit to the DM

I mean I don’t think I used to worry when people came to work or school if someone in their household had influenza as long as they were feeling healthy so I don’t really see the difference unless people are unvaxxed but then you open up a world of different opinions
